Involvement With Linux

Mark Furneaux has been an open source software activist since 2006, when he first discovered Linux. It wasn’t until mid 2007 before he was using Linux as his main OS. He does his best to encourage others to use any kind of free and open source software (FOSS) that they can.

Romaco Canada

In 2008 Mark started Romaco Canada, an IT development company aimed at providing services such as web development, computer repair, server setup, custom electronics hardware, and not-for-profit software.

As an Audiophile

Ever since Mark bought his first CD in 2002, he has always been obsessed with the limits of technology’s ability to accurately reproduce sound. Mark is advocate of vinyl, and fancies valve amplifiers.
